Understand how Relink turns raw topic tags into navigable clusters and an interactive map.

Overview

The tags page at /dashboard/tags is designed for exploration, not storage. It groups uncategorized memories by tag co-occurrence, then renders those relationships as a clustered board or draggable map so topic neighborhoods are easier to inspect.

Two Views

Cluster Board

Shows tag neighborhoods as grouped topic cards. Bubble size and typography scale with how often the tag appears across your archive.

Map View

Renders those same clusters on a 2D map that you can drag to pan. This helps when larger clusters extend beyond the visible viewport.

What You Can Do

SelectInspect a single tag or cluster to see strongest neighbors and total references.

OpenJump back to the dashboard with the selected tag applied as an active filter.

CompareSee which tags commonly appear together before you decide whether something belongs in a long-term collection.

Tip: Tags are display-normalized in the UI, so internal values like software-development appear as Software Development without changing the underlying filter keys.
